Ranch House Construction Update (footing excavation)

The excavation of the footing was completed.  The coordination between the excavator & the laser level device enabled the precise trenching.

The trench was dug wider than the designed footing width, so that there is enough room to work on rebars.

Ranch House Construction Update (septic tank)

The leach lines at the septic leach field for an aerobic treatment unit were installed at shallower depth due to the fact that aerobic treatment system relies largely on evapotranspirtation.

Aerobic treatment unit was used due to the poor percolation of the soil.

Aerobic treatment unit will be connected to a landline communication for emergency.

Ranch House Construction Update (riprap & swale)

Stormwater management is a critical component to reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff on streams / wetlands.

Due to the hillside development, a large quantity of stormwater need to be managed by bioswales & rip-raps.

Rock materials for bioswales & rip-raps were brought to the site.

Bioswales consist of layers of different size rocks with a deep middle trench, covered with engineered soil mix & shallow root plants.

A riprap was about to be constructed.  Each keystone block weighs 75lbs.

The perimeter footing area was graded and tampered.

The riprap walls were built and large backing #3 rock materials were laid over a weed blocker.
